This policy explains how AroundMe: Nearby Places, the Android app, and this website (aroundme.codemicros.com) handle information. CodeMicros(“we”, “us”, “the developer”) develops and maintains AroundMe: Nearby Places as an independent developer based in Chandigarh, India.

This website

This website is a fully static site — it has no backend server, no database, no user accounts, and does not set tracking or advertising cookies. Contact forms are not used; the Contact page provides a direct email address instead of collecting information through the site itself.

The AroundMe app

Location data

AroundMe requests access to your device's location to show you places near where you currently are. Location is used to power the app's core nearby-search function. AroundMe does not require an account, sign-in, or personal profile to operate.

Third-party services

Like most Android apps, AroundMe may rely on third-party services (for example, analytics or crash reporting) to help operate, maintain, and improve the app. The current, authoritative list of data collected and shared is always available in the app's Data Safety section on its Google Play listing, which is kept up to date as the app evolves.

Place information

Places shown in AroundMe are sourced from third-party mapping data. This data is not created or verified by CodeMicros, may be incomplete or out of date, and is provided as-is.

Data retention and your choices

Since AroundMe does not require an account, there is no personal profile to delete. Location access can be revoked at any time from your device's system settings, and the app can be uninstalled at any time to remove it from your device entirely.

Children's privacy

AroundMe is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
