How to find anything near you with AroundMe
AroundMe is built to answer one question as fast as possible: what's near me right now? Here's how to get the most out of it.
1. Allow location access
The first time you open AroundMe, it will ask for location access. This is required — without it, the app can't determine what's nearby or sort results by distance. Location is used only for this purpose.
2. Pick a category or search
If you know roughly what you're looking for, browse to a category — Restaurants, Pharmacies, Petrol Pumps, and hundreds of others are organized into clear groups. If you already know the name of what you want, search directly instead.
3. Read results sorted by distance
Results are ordered closest-first, so the top of the list is usually what you want. Tap a result to see more detail and get directions.
4. Try a related category
Every category page on this site lists related categories — useful if the first search doesn't turn up what you need. Looking for a hospital but the nearest one has no beds free? Check Doctors or Medical Clinics instead.
